TASHKENT, 4 April. /UZINFORM/. President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov signed a decree on 24 March on awarding the participants of the war of 1941-1945 in connection with celebration of the 65th anniversary of the Victory in the World War Two, reports Press Service of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In accordance with the document, the war participants will be presented with the jubilee medal “65 years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945” and a one-time remuneration of 200,000 soums.

The medal and the reward will be presented at solemn ceremonies on behalf of the President of Uzbekistan by the minister of defense, chairman of the National Security Service, minister of interior affairs, chairman of Joqargy Kenes of Karakalpakstan and hokims (heads of administrations) of regions, cities and districts.
